Fines accumulate on all circulating materials if they are not returned by or before their due dates. Fines accumulate up to the day prior to the date items are recovered from the Library book drop. Fines remain on patron records until the full amount has been paid. The following fine rates accumulate per item, daily, every day.
Circulating books: $.25 per day per book. The maximum fine per book is $5.00.
Reserves: $.50 per day per item. The maximum fine per reserve item is $5.00.
End of Term Due Dates –
Students: All materials are due by their due dates. Blocks will be placed if materials are not returned by the last day of exams.
Faculty/Staff: Materials must be returned by their due dates and no later than the end of the semester. If materials need renewing, please contact the Circulation Coordinator, Laurie Raper at (706) 272-4529.
Fines may be waived by a Roberts Library staff member for extenuating circumstances, such as the death of an immediate family member, unusual hardship, or error by the Library staff.
